Special elements can be used for propped balconies, inset & partially inset balconies, parapets, corbels etc.

The element itself consists of a rigid insulation block made of polystyrene combined with a statically effective rod system for the transmission of traction, compression and shear forces. While the transmission of the bending and shear forces occur through a combination of low thermal conductivity stainless steel and mild steel bars, the thrust element is made of high performance micro fibre reinforced concrete.

The element therefore provides an optimum combination of structural and thermal properties which is easy and quick to install with zero maintenance. The system's elasticity also reduces the differential expansion due to thermal influences existing between the balcony and inside slab and therefore prevents crack formation.
